Art as Therapy?

Of course.
On one hand for the artist:
He starts the individuationprocess, brings up images from the depths of his unconcious and invests psychic events. The agreement of conciousness and self is the way to health.
On the other hand for society:
The artist who is through with his personal unconcious, gets to the deeper layers of the common unconcious. Working on that, he manages to embed the viewer in his process of becoming concious and show the steps leading there. The artist is a pioneer and pathfinder of the soul. The archetypes are inside of us all and are recognized by the viewer.
